Changes Made to J1000 Regulations

As of December 1st 2024, Motorsport Ireland will update Regulations relating to the J1000 (Class 21) series. With an astonishing 32 drivers competing in the class in 2024, and many new drivers and cars expected to join the class in Forest Rallies, Rallysprints and Autocross event in the future, we would encourage all those affected to become familiar with the full Regulations below.

While similar to those currently in effective, there are three changes made as follows;

  1. Standard Production ECUs may now be ‘mapped’

  2. Smaller external race type mirrors can be fitted

  3. The requirement for a 'Control Tyre' has been removed, allowing free choice of tyre provided they remain 13 Inch in diameter.

If you have any questions regarding the regulation, please get in contact.
